The Challenge

In 2017, two major institutions merged to form First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB). The new entity needed to present itself as a unified, confident brand—one that reflected both its regional heritage and its global ambitions.
Our goal was to bring Orbis Terra Media’s content strategy to life visually, translating a complex merger narrative into a design language that felt strong, clear, and human.
The task: create a compelling competitive analysis and brand positioning presentation that highlighted FAB’s distinct strengths while setting it apart from competitors.

The Solution

We developed a design system rooted in FAB’s brand colors and visual identity, turning complex data into a presentation that told a cohesive story. Each competitor was represented through a unique visual approach, helping FAB’s advantages stand out at a glance.

Beyond the presentation, we extended the visual system across Private Banking and Elite Customer brochures. The logo mark became a central motif—reshaped into dynamic patterns and geometric forms that reinforced the brand across all materials.

Guided by the tone and identity markers defined in the brand positioning strategy, FAB’s private banking division gained a unified and confident voice.

The bank adopted several of the proposed branding elements—especially the logo-based pattern—which became an integral part of their visual identity and strengthened client relationships.

This collaboration also helped spark FAB’s commitment to producing original multimedia content, enriching how the bank communicates and connects with its audiences.
